Let us be direct about who this is for. You studied English at school. You passed. You can read the board at the bus stand and you understand more than you can produce. But if a stranger asks you something in English, your mind goes blank and somebody else answers for you.
That is not a knowledge problem and it will not be solved by another grammar book. It is a habit of silence, built over years of being corrected in front of other people. Foundation English exists to break that habit, and it starts on day one by making you speak badly on purpose.
One hour a day, six days a week. No week is a lecture.
The vocabulary you use every day and nothing else. Family, food, money, time, directions, work. Plus the present tense, so you can already say what you do and where you go by the end of week two.
What you did yesterday and what you will do tomorrow. These two tenses carry most ordinary conversation, and getting them automatic matters far more than knowing all twelve.
Question forms, which most beginners never practise. You learn to start a conversation rather than only survive one somebody else began.
Two minute exchanges with a classmate, then in front of the batch. By the last week every student stands and speaks for a minute about something ordinary, unprepared.
Not fluency. We will not pretend otherwise. This is what Level 1 genuinely delivers.
Simple, sometimes wrong, but out loud and without the long pause while you assemble it in Hindi first.
A shop, an auto, a form at the bank, giving directions. The situations that cause daily embarrassment stop causing it.
Present, past and future, automatically rather than by recalling a rule from a book.
Argue a point, speak at length, or keep up with fast speech. That is Level 2 and Level 3, and eight weeks does not buy it.
On age. The oldest student in a Foundation batch is usually in their forties and the youngest in their teens. Being the oldest in the room is the fear most adults arrive with, and it disappears within a week because half the room is thinking the same thing.
Eight weeks at Rs 2,500, payable monthly if you prefer. One hour daily, six days a week, in the morning batch before 9 AM or the evening batch after 5 PM. Printed practice sheets are included. Finishing this level does not commit you to the next one.

Yes. This level starts from the assumption that you cannot produce a sentence out loud. If you can read simple English slowly, you are in the right place. If you cannot read the alphabet at all, tell us at the demo class and we will be honest about whether to start you here.
Almost certainly not, and this is the fear nearly everyone arrives with. A Foundation batch is full of people who can read English and cannot speak it. You will recognise yourself in the room within ten minutes.

Tell us and we will give you the practice sheets for what you missed. Missing the occasional class is manageable. Missing two weeks is not, because this course works on daily repetition, so be realistic about the slot you choose.
