The classroom

Where the classes actually happen

Every photograph on this page was taken inside WINGS in Hazaribag. Nothing here is a stock image bought from a website.

The building

Finding us in Hazaribag

If you are visiting for the first time, these are the landmarks to look for on the way in.

Sessions and events

Beyond the daily timetable

Scholarship tests, group discussions, seminars and the small celebrations that happen when a result comes out.

Come and see it for yourself

Photographs only go so far. Sit through a free demo class, look at the notes and talk to the students already in the batch.

Questions about visiting

Can I visit the institute before joining?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Walk in any day between 6 AM and 8 PM, Monday to Saturday. You can see the classroom, sit through a live session and ask the students what they think without anyone from the office standing over them.

How big is the classroom?

Each batch is capped at twenty five students, and the room is built for exactly that. It is deliberately small. A hall of a hundred students is cheaper to run and far worse to learn in.

Do you record the classes or put them online?

No. WINGS is a classroom institute. The teaching depends on the teacher seeing your face when you have not understood something, which a camera cannot do for you.

Is there parking nearby?

Two wheelers can be parked outside the building. Hazaribag gets busy in the evening, so students coming to the 5 PM batch usually park a short walk away on the main road.
