An eight month classroom batch for SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS and GD, covering Tier 1 and Tier 2 with a weekly mock test.
SSC CGL, CHSL, MTS and GD share most of their syllabus. Our SSC coaching in Hazaribag teaches that common core once, then splits into the paper you are actually sitting.
| Exam | Eligibility | Typical posts | Stages |
|---|---|---|---|
| SSC CGL | Graduate | Inspector, Assistant, Auditor, Tax Assistant | Tier 1, Tier 2 |
| SSC CHSL | 12th pass | LDC, Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant | Tier 1, Tier 2 |
| SSC MTS | 10th pass | Multi Tasking Staff, Havaldar | Session 1 and 2 |
| SSC GD | 10th pass | Constable in CAPF, BSF, CRPF, SSB | Written, physical, medical |
No vague promises about coverage. This is the order the syllabus is taught in and when each thing happens.
Percentage, ratio, average, number system in maths. Tenses, parts of speech, subject verb agreement in English. Series, analogy and coding in reasoning. Nothing moves on until this holds.
Profit and loss, time and work, time and distance, simple and compound interest. In English, error spotting and sentence improvement, which carry the most marks for the least effort.
Algebra, geometry, trigonometry and data interpretation. Reasoning moves to puzzles and seating arrangement. Fifty question drills after every topic, timed.
A complete mock every week under exam timing on OMR sheets, followed by a paper by paper discussion of what went wrong and why.
After twenty five years of watching students sit these papers, the pattern barely changes. The marks are not lost in the hard chapters. They are lost in three predictable places.
Most students walking into SSC coaching in Hazaribag can do algebra but cannot do percentage quickly. Since percentage sits underneath profit and loss, interest, and data interpretation, a weak base quietly costs marks in four different chapters. We spend the first two months on this and it is the single highest return thing we do.
Students from Hindi medium schools often decide early that the English section is a write off and aim to survive it. That is fifty marks surrendered before the paper starts. Error spotting, fill in the blanks and one word substitution are rule based and entirely learnable in a few months. This is an English institute first, which is precisely why our SSC batch does not treat that section as somebody else's problem.
Plenty of candidates can solve every question on the paper given unlimited time. The exam does not give unlimited time. From the third month onward every practice set is timed, and speed and accuracy are reported separately, because a student who is slow needs different help from one who is careless.
Negative marking is a strategy, not a warning. SSC deducts for wrong answers, so the skill being tested is knowing which questions to leave. We teach that explicitly during the test phase. Most students attempt too many questions, not too few.
The SSC course runs eight months for Rs 12,000, payable in monthly instalments. That includes printed notes for every subject, practice sheets, more than a hundred and twenty mock tests, the daily spoken English slot, help filling the online application, and free interview and document verification guidance once your result is out. There is no second payment at any point.
Batches open through the year and close at twenty five students. Come and sit through a class before you decide.
If you are a graduate, prepare for CGL and sit CHSL as well, since the syllabus overlaps almost entirely and the extra attempt costs you nothing. If you have only finished 12th, start with CHSL and MTS now rather than waiting for your degree.
For a serious candidate starting from a normal school background, yes. Students who already have a strong maths base often clear Tier 1 sooner. What eight months buys you is Tier 2, where the level is higher and where most people who rushed their preparation come unstuck.
Both. Tier 2 is where CGL is actually decided, so the last three months of the course include Tier 2 level maths and English along with the Tier 1 mock tests.
More than a hundred and twenty across the course, including sectional tests after each topic and a full length paper every week in the final phase. All of them are included in the fee.
We prepare you for the written paper, and we tell you the physical standards and running times you need to hit. The running practice itself is on you, and we will tell you honestly how far off you are.
